Everything Is Unreal, It’s a Glitch is a collaborative exhibition by visual artist Jess Bizer and sound artist Cristy Michel she her sir.
Through projection, sound, and installation, the exhibition approaches the glitch as both disruption and portal: a moment where reality fractures, multiplies, and reforms.
Influenced by queer perspectives, networked technologies, and the fragmented nature of memory, the work explores identity as fluid, layered, and continually rewritten.
In this space, abstract projections, fractured imagery, and immersive sound creates an environment in which signals break apart, recombine and blur distinctions memory and simulation.
As the first chapter of an ongoing collaboration, Everything Is Unreal, It’s a Glitch establishes a shared visual and sonic language that will continue to evolve through live performance, film, and installation, exploring what it means to exist as a signal moving through increasingly mediated worlds.
